During the 3D simulation, there seems to be non-zero fluid flows outside of the channel, which is supposed to be solid boundary (zero fluid velocity). This non-zero velocity outside of the channel is due to the immersed boundary method, and is a part of numerical treatment, but is not actually fluid velocity. The simulation runs correctly and you can just ignore the non-zero velocity outside the channel. From the tool pane, choose , which clarifies non-fluid regions with grey and white dots on XY, YZ and ZX cross-sectional planes.
